Our new Rockhampton site is a state-of-the-art facility, with a purpose-built plant and equipment designed with the latest technology. Our emphasis is on the formulation of granules and pellets, however, we are also able to offer services including packaging and labeling.
The Cirrus Ag plant at Rockhampton offers advanced manufacturing capabilities for Queensland, with automated production equipment and control systems that are new to agricultural herbicide manufacturing. It is the only plant of its kind in Australia.
The PLC (programmable logic controller) has the provision to pull data and provide traceability in relation to chemical use feeding back to the inventory system the technology reduces the need for operator interaction removing the requirement for manual measuring and mixing of chemicals.
The plant provides advanced automated self-cleaning which allows rapid switching of product manufacturing.
The auto sampler automatically extracts batch samples so they can be tested for QC.
The advanced automation allows consistency in the product produced.
Automated recordability and traceability provide significant Q&A improvements.
Zero waste achieved through the incorporation of a scalper screen that diverts “waste” pellets back into the process.
